Health centers of the Turkestan region is equipped with a satellite channel KazSat

JSC «Republican center of space communication» (RCSC) is a national satellite communication operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with JSC «Kazakhtelecom» provided to remote health centers Turkestan region broadband access to the Internet in a test mode, the correspondent of MIA «Kazinform».

This work on the digitalization of settlements in the framework of sectoral programs of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out within the state program «Digital Kazakhstan» in order to improve the quality of life of the population through the use of digital technologies in the medium term, according to the press service of the Ministry of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Communication channels are provided via satellite «KazSat-3» and provide continuous access to information systems of the Ministry of health and uptime, said the President of JSC «RCSC» Victor Lefter.

Satellite subscriber terminals, installation and adjustment of which was made by highly qualified specialists of «Kazakhtelecom» JSC, were installed in three settlements of Saryagash, Suzak and Baidibek regions of Turkestan region.

As told MIA «Kazinform», the representative of the Department of health of the Turkestan region Yermek Tajimurat, due to the organized satellite communications channel, medical facilities in remote villages had the opportunity of creation of electronic passports of health. Now local residents when visiting the medical center do not need to have a paper outpatient card with all the tests, medical history, doctors' appointments. At the same time, the district doctor can send the patient directly to the district, city, regional medical institutions for consultation or treatment, as the schedule of doctors in the entire region is available online.

All this allows to increase the efficiency of medical institutions through the transition to paperless management of documents, said E. Tajimurat.
