"Kokterek" CSC is a modern technological center, created as an analogue of the current "Akkol" CSC.

 The high school students visited the "Akkol" Center of space communications

The students of No.33 village secondary school of Tselinograd region visited the "Akkol" Center of space communication ("Akkol" CSC) at January 13, 2017. 

Excursion was organized by the “Rodina” Akim machinery state institution for promotion the space activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan among the young people. 

The younger generation learned about the history of the development of space communications and space industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole. 

Students saw the basic principles of communication technology, high-tech equipment of the center, learned about communication satellites and their purpose and saw the basic principles of flight control satellites "KazSat" series. 

 Director of CSC "Akkol" Svoguzov Shokan Galihanovich, said: "At the present time in the Republic of Kazakhstan increased the demand for technical and engineering programmes that are necessary to ensure the development of the telecommunications and space industries, the communications industry and economic growth of the country as a whole. In this regard, "Republican center of space communication" JSC pays great attention to the education of interest to technical Sciences and to improve the motivation of the choice of engineering professions among the younger generation."
